The Cubby Bake House and Deli

I recently moved to Coburg North and discovered this hidden gem just a short walk from my house. They offer all homemade baked goods and the shop has a cozy atmosphere. The coffee is strong and delicious, which can be hard to find. I tried the beef pie and it was delicious and satisfying. The staff provided excellent customer service and the prices for the food are very reasonable. I believe I have found my new favorite local cafe and I will definitely be returning, and I plan on bringing my roommates with me next time!

This restaurant is a fantastic spot to grab a bite to eat and enjoy a cup of coffee. It's conveniently located within walking distance of the Merlynston train station. The atmosphere is cozy with PBS playing on the radio, giving it a community feel. I can't wait to go back again soon.

Located just a short walk from Merlynston railway station, The Cubby Bakehouse Cafe offers a wide range of pastries and cakes. This morning, I stopped in after missing my train and ordered a Chai latte and a Chicken aioli spinach pie for breakfast. The Chai latte was delicious and satisfying, but I found the pie to be plain and overly doughy.

Very nice coffee, and a good range of simple (but very tasty and interesting) options for brekkie and lunch. Have visited often, and the polite and friendly service is a welcome change.

Closed on Sundays, it opens early for breakfast on other days. I found the coffee great and the food great value for money and tasty. The food is not fancy, but delicious. The outlook from the seats, inside and outside, across the park is restful.
