If your looking for a fancy , need a nice ambiance for dates , then this restaurant is worth a shot. Their dishes are also good and not to forget the quality and quantity. It was good too. But on a bit expensive side tough.
My first time visiting Bombay velvet. The ambience looked cool with contemporary setting. Food was very tasty. Tried malai chap, paneer tikka, dal makhni, veg biryani, aloo gobi and gulab jamoon Tried old fashion and margarita. Good family restaurant !
The ambience is stunning. The attention to detail, the weighty copper cutlery, the luxe sofas, the gorgeous chandeliers all contribute to an upscale dining experience. The cocktails are wonderful, though a bit too expensive, the food is good but the portions are miniscule and the quality is average compared to any other upscale Indian restaurant in the area or in DC. The sevice is good and family-friendly. Overall a nice experience, knocked out one star for the
We saw lunch special sign outside and went in. Once we sit in saw the menu, we asked to confirm the price cause it was 35% higher! The waitress said the lunch menu outside is only Mon-Thu. This is so sneaky unprofessional to trap customers like this.. we drove a long distance to get here had no choice but to order.Food was good but portions are small.1 garlic bread 5$, lamb bryani 24$ and 20% tip is charged no matter what! Not worth it.
Food was good, kadai paneer very different from other typical Indian restaurants. Lama was very professional, pretty attentive and fantastic staff!
