Shalimar Pakistani Cuisine - Reykjavik

Food was 10/10 cannot fault it. Naan bread was soft and tasty. Curry was fresh and flavourful.

Very tasty and spicy meals (beef, chicken, prawn, etc), with breads. Special for the garlic naan. PS: Vegan friendly Take away offers

It’s my last night in Iceland so naturally when I saw the words “Pakistani cuisine”, I knew resistance was futile. Well friends, I have no regrets. I had a witty starter poppadum “nachos” that were light and tasty and came with delicious mango chutney and then a chicken karahi which was brilliantly spiced and perfectly cooked, and a tasty garlic naan. What can I say, I’m greedy! I also had raita because why not gild the lily? TL;DR: the food was delicious, generous, and well priced, and the service made me feel like I was at home. 5 stars, thank you, Shalimar, and especially thanks to my lovely friend from Oman whose name I don’t know how to spell he’ll know who he is from the moon emoji! who made me so welcome.
