Solon Bistro - Reykjavik

Waiter had heard about celiac, but checked with the chef to be certain about gluten-free after asking what I was interested in having. They had a variety of gluten-free options. I ordered the Skirt Steak with roast potatoes. It was very good. I am very sensitive to gluten and I did not have a reaction. They told me the French fries would not be gluten-free.

Ate here once based on other reviews. No GF items marked on the menu, but they did have GF options and were happy to answer questions. We had the tomato soup which was excellent and I did not get sick.

Ate here twice! Fish of the day they can make gluten free had the salmon and the time before they had artic char. Also had the power salad which had quinoa and added chicken and was delicious. Fries are gluten free and were unexpectedly delicious. No separate menu but items are marked that contain gluten which was awesome. Just ask to make sure!
