Great seafood with a very affordable price tag. The fish dealer next door belongs to the restaurant. Langoustine Bisque is rich in taste and comes in with four Langustin. Very satisfied. Huge part of the bowls and naturally full of taste. The halibut does not look so promising on the menu, but it tastes heavenly. Very happy with this place and will come back.
This restaurant is by far one of the best in Iceland. The food is fantastic. My partner and I had the lobster soup and the soup of the day. That was the best soup I had. Great taste and the right salty point. The cook Gudbjartur was charming, and he explained to us the history of the place and how he made our food. He recommends us to take the house Dessert, and it was so good!. Chocolate cake with condensed milk and cheese cake with many surprises inside. I was so glad to find this place that deserves to be on my favorite restaurant list. I would recommend this place to everyone who wants to enjoy the best food, with great prices and a very authentic cook.
If you visit Iceland and you are around this place, please visit it. The menu is perfect. Prices are reasonable. The food is traditional and delicious, the staff is very nice and helpful. Will be back in any case
Excellent meal. The seafood was super fresh and everything we ordered was delicious. The housemade bulgur and mushroom patty was both toddler friendly AND one of the best veggie burgers I 've ever had.
