The Mirchi - Rhayader

Enjoyed the meal, not cheap but you get what you pay for

Beautiful food, visited Rhayader found this takeaway sit down. Nice to see different items on menu.

Been here several times. Food as ever was absolutely delish, service was horrendous. The sole waiter working tonight shouldn't be let loose on the public.

The food was delicious BUT on the night we were there the waiter was unbelievably rude. No one greeted us and the young guy in there was rude, had a bad stroppy attitude and shouldn’t be customer facing. He made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome the whole time we were there. At the end he brought us an illegible scribbled receipt with no itemised pricing and a total that was difficult to read. We asked for an itemised receipt so we could split it amongst our group he stormed over with a calculator instead. Whilst we were in there 3 guys came in and then left clearing saying something about terrible service. This was really disappointing because my friend has previously had 2 very positive dining experiences.

Ok. We live in the Midlands where there are thousands of Indian restaurants. And we usually eat out in them once or twice a week. We know a bit about Asian cuisine!Every time we visit Rhayader we go to the Mirchi. And every time we eat there we say the same thing. It is the best Asian food we have ever had. The flavours, the spices, the presentation and service. Absolutely first class.We can't wait till the next time
