R&t's Dinky Diner - RHINELANDER

I absolutely love this restaurant! I started coming here about a year ago, and I've consistently appreciated the service—and of course, the delicious food! Michelle always greets us with a smile, Rick never fails to share a corny dad joke, and Kristina is always attentive and friendly. My favorite dish is the Reuben Sandwich, while Amy can’t get enough of the chicken and bacon wrap!

I used to visit the cafe that occupied this place when I was a child, and I have wonderful memories of its pancakes. For a bit of nostalgia, I ordered the two pancakes with added strawberries and whipped cream. They were fantastic! The size was perfect, they arrived promptly, and the strawberries were delicious. Plus, the price was great!

If you're looking for a great breakfast in Rheinlander, this is the place to go! While they do serve lunch as well, we've only visited for breakfast on three occasions, which is why I'm focusing my review here. The restaurant is small and tends to be quite busy, but we never had to wait long for a table as there always seems to be enough seating available. The service is incredibly friendly, and our meals have always been served hot and in a timely manner. The portion sizes are generous for the price, and the menu is diverse, offering something for everyone, including kids. My only recommendation would be to see more scratch-made options or locally sourced products, such as fresh eggs or meats. We'll definitely be back! Great job, everyone!

When we came in, my mouth was watered. The criminal fries are made to perfection. The Bluegill dinner was very full. Thanks for longer hours on Friday.
