Had the broasted full chicken dinner. Crisp, moist, so very good. Served very hot so knewasw it was fresh. My son had the shrimp basket with sweet potato fries. Excellent! Prices very reasonable. Will definitely return. Although it was Friday night, I passed on the fish, but seen other dinners enjoying what looked like a great meal!

Saturday, 10/14, Went to have one of there typically very good prime rib dinner.

This is now under new ownership and will be called The Woodpecker in a nod to the original establishment. The new owners Ashley and Mike Hastreiter run an excellent bar and grill in downtown Rhinelander called Bucketheads Sports Bar Grill and the community is very excited for the changes to come!

Had the Sunday Broasted Chicken special last night. We were running late after deer hunting so we called in our order and it was ready and hot when we got there. Fast service and good drinks.

Great place for a fish fry! Staff were friendly, and food was great! Go if ur in the area.
