Prince's Resturant - Rhondda Cynon Taf

The corned beef triangle was overheated in the microwave, resulting in a hard pastry. It was served with a small portion of salad and two small boiled potatoes for £10, which was not considered great value. However, the sandwich ordered by my partner was okay.

I have been frequenting The Princes Cafe for more than four decades. It is the best cafe in Wales. The cakes are absolutely delicious and the staff is consistently friendly.

I recently visited this stunning art deco café for the first time, and it was the perfect spot to relax and refuel after a swim at the lido. The service was excellent, the selection of cakes and baked goods was amazing, and it was all very reasonably priced.

We usually call in Princes when we go shopping in Ponty it’s almost a tradition. They bake lovely bread, and their fresh rolls and tea is a lovely combination. My favourite is the corned beef wedge with beans chips. Always excellent service. The only disappointment is their custard slices.

Visited for afternoon tea on the weekend. Great service and good quality food. However, the only thing that would improve the experience would be the pastries having at least one vegetarian option such as a cheese and onion pasty. Overall great experience.
