We turned a corner and spotted the Plaza and went to investigate. The restaurant instantly catches your eye as it is bright, smart, elegant and modern with sturdy outdoor furniture. We sat outside and an immaculately turned out waiter brought us two beers. I went to take care of business to find when I returned two small plates of spaghetti in clam sauce with clams, a razor clam and cod. Perfect as Barbara doesn't do shellfish so I got both. Two more beers were accompanied by bread with serrano and beef tomato. We still hadn't seen a menu. We opted for two tapas specialities del casa. I had a perfect miniature solmillo with all the trimming and a mild pepper sauce with walnuts. Barbara had a mini hamburger which was perfect with everything in proportion. Don't know what her sauce was as she wouldn't share and I wouldn't blame her. Delicious. The sun came out while we were sitting and I would credit the restaurant with that too. I indulged myself in one more beer and then asked for the cuenta which came to a ridiculous €15. With a €5 tip we had the most perfect lunchtime for €10 each. Well worth the trip. Mark
