Gumbo was a kind of light brown water soup with a few very chewing shrimps and a few small pieces of any kind of fish. It's like microwaves. Hush puppies not warm enough to melt butter. Overcooked and hard. It tasted like they were cooked for a while under a warmer or frozen.

This is a great place to get your shrub, to catch drinks and a good game on the screens. Food is the BEST!!! Service is fast, attentive and friendly as it should be. I managed to get back soon.

Eating is terrible! Order the crab filled shrimp, shrimp and crab Hush puppies and a few pages. The crabs crabs are basically a frozen butterfly shrimps stuck with frozen crabcake meat. The stuff that is mostly baked, it was almost like filling. The shrimp and crabs Hush puppies were roasted cheese balls. Every time I bet in her, I got a mouthful greeting at the point that I had to tear her in half, drop the fat and then eat. I didn't taste a bit of seafood in these tacky fat fairs. Above everything from the fresh daily bread pudding was as hard as a brick. The best was the Pommes and everything for $40. Don't come back.

Great food, friendly service. Fish and chips, roasted mushrooms and Cajun Pasta were all delicious. Tested the crabs/shrimp-hush puppies, but we didn't like them, they were more like a cheese ball with crabs and shrimps.

I used to come here for lunch at least once a week when I worked in Richardson. The food was good but the red beans and rice were amazing. I moved away a couple of years ago but was back for a weekend and stopped by for dinner on Sunday. The old place was just like I remember except it was empty except for maybe 5 customers and two sat outside. The music was up too loud and the help and a customer threw feet away had to shout at each other to be heard. The food was okay but we received a baked quartered potato instead of buttered red potatoes ordered and the red beans tasted like they were poured out of a can over microwave rice. I guess you can't go home again, especially on the weekends.
