The bald cashier wasn't very friendly, and the tamales were quite thin for the price. The chicken in salsa verde tasted good, but the cream cheese and jalapeño tamales were just okay. They didn't really have jalapeños; they seemed more like cream cheese flavored with jalapeño. Overall, I would rate it 3 out of 5.

Although they aren't quite as good as the homemade ones, these tamales really satisfy, especially the spicy beef variety. Since I'm the only one left in my family who makes tamales, and I have a full-time job, I guess they'll just have to enjoy these outside of Christmas time.

If you're craving tamales during the summer and can't find any from your usual sources until the winter holidays, head over to Tamalería Nuevo León! They even offer dessert tamales. In my opinion, the tamales here are superior to those found at most Mexican grocery stores. The gentleman at the counter is always friendly, which adds to the experience. Plus, their creamy green jalapeño and orange habanero salsas are absolutely delicious!

The food, service, and atmosphere were fantastic. The restaurant was crowded, but we didn’t wait long for our order. We enjoyed Birria Tacos, rice, beans, barbacoa, steak tacos, and corn in a cup. Everything was delicious. We will definitely return!

This was our first visit to this restaurant, and we absolutely loved it! If I could give it 10 stars, I would! The staff is courteous, professional, and friendly. We really enjoyed the chicken and cheese tamales—they're huge! We've tried other places, but this one is the BEST! We also ordered the mini empanaditas, which were perfect for dessert with a coffee. We will definitely return! Keep up the exceptional work!
