I had the house meatballs and the grilled brot with mushrooms. the meatballs and sauce were excellent, although a bit pasta with it would have been good. the grilled brot and the mushrooms are served with a lot of broth, and my brot was muddy before I took my first bite and I didn't care about the mushrooms as they seemed a bit undercooked. our friends ordered a pizza and they were satisfied with it. we both ordered dessert. the chocolate cake and the blackberry sorbet. both were excellent and we were happy with the vegan options on the regular menu and dessert menu. the personal was wonderful. we never had to ask for fillings for our drinks and all had smiles on their faces and were so nice!
The culinary highlight of our trip to Tri-Cities. we sat outside on the terrace and enjoyed great cocktails, friendly service and delicious food. the pita was huge and fluffy, both with the lamb and the hummus. highly recommended!
One of the best places to eat in richland if not the best. the only complaining is that they are the favorite African peanut curry of my wife from the menu (the kicherbsen curry, which replaces it is also great, though! the staff is excellent, the owners enjoyable, and the menu inventive and contemplative, without being on all intentious.
Not seating the whole party until everyone arrives, no refunds for ordered items, etc. these rules sour how I feel at the restaurant. It feels icky, elitist and uncomfortable. (I have never requested a refund for food. Just the existence of that policy is strange and off putting. The seating policy makes me avoid this place when joining friends for dinner. It's just awkward. Staff also feel stiff and unfriendly, for the most part. No one comes by to ask how things are at all. So, when the wrong drink was brought to our table, after five minutes of waiting for our waitress (or anyone to come by, we had to flag someone down. Not a big deal but not ideal, either. Chicken sandwich and fries come with no sauce for the fries. A little weird. So, we had to ask the girl bringing our food out who had to relay the request to our waitress who eventually brought us a tiny, tiny ketchup container. Not enough ketchup, but not worth flagging someone down and waiting for more. The food is decent some dishes are quite nice some are not great for the price or the portions are too small. The aforementioned chicken sandwich and fries would not fill up most people. Even with an appetizer, we felt it was too light of a portion for the price. Also, the couple drinks I've ordered have been strange. The spicy strawberry margarita, for example, smelled and tasted strongly of vinegar. Nothing in the ingredients suggested it would taste like that. I am putting this feedback here since no one at the restaurant asks about the meal for feedback (and I wouldn't dare to have them think I was challenging their rule about no refunds. They just might want feedback that their drink tastes spoiled?
Great local restaurant with a chic inside dinning and cute outside seating. I enjoyed the gumbo served with rice. Just the right amount of heat and flavor! The pizza was amazing as well. Great crispy dough with homemade dough and sauce! The service was great and attentive! I would highly recommend this local place!
