Shrub Steppe Smokehouse Brewery

Shrub Steppe is situated in a business park, just a short walk from two other breweries, making it part of a trio that stood out during my visit to the Tri-Cities. I visited Shrub Steppe last of the three, and I found that it boasts a lovely, spacious yard with shady trees, perfect for lounging and enjoying a drink or even a meal. Although they do offer food, I had just eaten a substantial lunch, so dining wasn’t a priority for me, and I can’t comment on the quality of the food. However, I thoroughly enjoyed their beer! The Vanilla Porter stood out to me; it has a soothing and warming quality that's just right for fall. The service was pleasant, and while I needed little assistance, the staff members were all quite friendly!

We stumbled upon this restaurant while searching for a quick stop, and we are so glad we did! It’s an excellent combination – the brisket sandwich is fantastic, and the pilsner is great! The service matches the quality, which is hard to find in the fast-paced city I come from. I really appreciate the slower pace here, where people treat you so well. Two thumbs up!

I ordered the meat platter for lunch and was impressed by the fast service! All the meats were juicy and tender, and the wings had a fantastic flavor. I appreciated the wide selection of sauces, and the Habanero Honey beer paired perfectly with the meal. I highly recommend this place!

An incredible value. I was impressed with the quality of the ingredients and they have a great lineup of BBQ sauces table-side for you to experiment with. They have a nice assortment of beers on tap and a fun place to visit with buddies at the end of a workday.
