The cashiers were very very kind. The older man named Joseph has a disgusting attitude and speaks to the other employees in a very disrespectful manner, in front of customers. He was cussing at an employee, calling her names, because she wasn’t “mopping properly”. Grow up, that attitude is pathetic.
Awesome Chai and Vegetarian Reuben. Great Vegan French Toast too!
Atmosphere of the cafe was unique with its paintings and booth setups. Ordered an omelette with cheese and bagel. Egg was salty but otherwise the combination was
I used to come here almost every day while I was at VCU and lived down the street. It was one of my favorite places in the neighborhood. I just went back for the first time in 15 years (after moving away from RVA . It's so nice to see that this lovely place is still here.I don't normally notice much difference in drip coffee (it's either good or bad... strong or weak basically but the one they serve there is noticeably excellent and some of the best I've ever had.The prices are super reasonable. Stefa and Katherine served me and my friend. They were friendly, helpful and patient.Really nice to meet the owner, Quillin. I hope she's proud of her much deserved (and hopefully continued success and contribution to local culture.Great vibe, kind people, cool art, good music, interesting stuff to read... places like this make Richmond the city it is.:
