Place is in Aberdeen Mall 2nd floor. Portions were a little smaller than some other Ramen shops… but actually just the right size for me and my family. Full but not stuffed with a bowl of ramen with a side of Chicken Karrage Ponzu.Soup stock is rich and flavourful, noodles are just the way i like them : al dante.Karrage was crips and light. We arrived soon after they opened but it filled up fast!
Food is good, broth is good service is good.Price is alright with $16 per bowl of Ramen which is standard for Vancouver but sparse on the toppingsCha Siu slices are thinner than paper, its almost impressive
The paitan shoyu was delicious. Had a rich broth. The gyoza was also panfried well.Food: 3/5
The portion is laughable. I ate two bowls, and it was just right. Mind you, I am not a big eater. expensive for the quantity. It's Japanese food. We were expecting the price but not the quantity. This place offered the most un generous portion of all the ramen restaurants in the world we have ever tried. I swear I am not exaggerating. both our bowls were spicy, but they are not labeled in the menu. Wife can not stand the tiniest bit of chili, gave me her bowl as well. I ate both bowls and they were just enough very delicious. If only they could be more generous, we would definitely call this home as we love Japanese food, especially ramen and sushi.
