More dim sum, this time at Shun Feng Seafood Restaurant in Parker Place, Richmond. We came here on a Saturday afternoon — traffic was terrible, parking was also terrible. However, the restaurant wasn’t too busy. Plain rice rolls. I don’t know why but my family likes plain rice rolls. These are alright, nothing particularly bad or good about them.
I have recently discovered some great dim sum deals at Shun Feng Seafood Restaurant, located at Parker Place in Richmond. For $20, you get to pick any 3 dim sum dishes from their menu, and also get to choose one from Steamed Ribs on Rice or Salty Fish Meat Pie on Rice. As some of the dim sum dishes could cost as much as $7.95 each, this is definitely a good deal for 2 people. And they also have a $30 deal as well, which includes any 5 dim sum dishes and a rice dish.<br/ <br/ The dishes we picked this morning were all pretty nicely prepared. Shrimp Dumpling has a very thin and delicate skin, and their shrimp filling gives a perfect crunch. But I think the dumplings could have been seasoned a little bit more.
Great dimsum food and fast servers. They have delicious chef specialty dishes on top of their standard dimsum menu.
There is a ginger crab fried rice pot that they serve here and it is by far the best fried rice I have ever had in my life, hands down. It’s borderline comfort food and I don’t think I have ever tried anything like it before. A must try!
