Hosted a dinner last year and this time my cousin treated us and again Chinese style banquet for 12 persons. Food is Cantonese style and may not be refined but tasty and good value....

Small Cantonese sea food place ran by husband and wife team. Well partonised even during Monday and food is good with reasonable prices....

After playing sports we come here almost every week to have a dinner afterwards as a group of 8. You can have dishes that remind you of home cooking or more fancier dishes. We usually preorder the melon soup which has lovely seafood in it and then just a bunch of everything. We try to order with less oil and salt in their cooking preparation. The owners work hard and the pricing is fairly reasonable. Casual atmosphere.

There are so many Chinese restaurants to sample in Richmond. This one, which I understand to be a family run operation, is a good one based on an initial sampling. We were met by one of what I assume was a younger family member. It is a small restaurant on the Cambie side of the Continental Mall. The initial impression upon walking in is that it is clean (confirmed by a clean washroom), always a good sign for me. It has a pretty diverse menu and a live seafood tank. We just dropped in for a light meal but also observed other dishes arriving at nearby tables. We had the small Westlake Soup (beef with cilentro) which is enough for 4 people to share and small side of Pea Greens in garlic. Both came piping hot and were quite delicious.
