Very instagram worthy but lacking in flavour and delivery. The cinnamon cone is served warm which is great but just adds to the messiness with a soft serve ice cream that is quite soft to start. The flavour was lacking the drizzle of pistachio sauce was underwhelming. Most of the flavour was in the bottom of the cone dripping out. In my opinion it would be better with either hard ice cream and warm cones of soft ice cream with non warmed cones.
Tried the Caramel Biscoff and boy it was filling! Definitely perfect for the hot summer! There's usually a line but the serving is fast so you won't actually be waiting that much. Can't wait to try their other selections as well!
I haven’t tried any of their items and I’m sure they are delicious but I had a very bad experience on July 1 at Lafarge Lake when they were set up for the Canada Day Fireworks. The line was incredibly long and we had waited for well over an hour. The fireworks started around 10 pm and by the time we were third in line (at approximately 10:10pm) they suddenly closed up shop, presumably due to selling out. Rather than shutting down abruptly, they should have had a staff member step outside when they knew they would be running out soon to inform those in line. I’ve seen other businesses do that and it saves time, effort, and frustration for everyone involved. This wasn’t the worst of it though. In front of us was a mother with a young son who was clearly upset because he wasn’t able to get anything. As the truck was closing up, the mother told staff that her son had Autism and asked if there was ANYTHING her son could have, whether it be fruit, leftover ice cream, or anything at all since they have been waiting for so long. The staff member ignored them and continued to close up shop as if they didn’t exist. Where’s the kindness and compassion? Where’s the humanity? I doubt that the food truck had ZERO things that they could even spare for a young boy. I doubt that there was absolutely nothing in the truck they could give him at the end of their day. What a terrible way to treat your customers. At the very least they could have acknowledged the mother instead of dismissing them. This could have been approached in a much better way but was instead carried out in such a tactless manner. It really left a bad taste in my mouth for the rest of the evening. Do better!
My friends really enjoyed their ice cream treat after a good hike! The lemon cone item #6 tasted like a good lemon pie. So tasty. The berries cone, item #4 was also very good! Should be a no brainer to stop there after coming down the gondola.
