Eat 66 - Richmond

I really like the atmosphere here. Kinda minimalist, but with effort the art is displayed and wall painting. Great staff. Only a few people are so busy, but they stopped well and had a pleasant attitude. Many parking spaces. Lots of space even at 1030 on Sunday. Wait as minimal as you sit. Food was delicious, with the exception of pancakes. But would definitely return. Great brunch place.

Discovered this gem as I was visiting Richmond for the day and wanted a diner experience. Arrived and the staff was very welcoming and Lucy provided great customer service. The menu was very diverse with something for everyone. We selected fried green tomatoes, grits, pancakes, eggs, bacon and toast. I absolutely loved the spicy sauce that accompanied the tomatoes. It paired so well to elevate the dish. The pancakes were just the right size and golden brown. I will definitely be back to try the other items on the menu.

Love this little diner! Easy to park our little RV. I had Fried Green Tomatoes Benedict, the husband had the house-made hash. Everything was fresh and delicious. Friendly chill atmosphere with hip Route 66 vibe. Low salt used in prep, salt to your taste folks!

Great little place for breakfast, as Mama did. Menu also had some creative offers. Service was excellent. Chili was good, but could have been tempted. Maybe it was cooled by acid cream. I'm sure if I had spoken, they would have heated it or even brought me a fresh hot bowl. Everything else was hot and well prepared. Again great crew and customer service. Would definitely go back.

Great experience! I had the Cajun Catfish, eggs over medium, with Grits and Potatoes ?, Hubby had Chicken ? and Waffles ?. Food, as well as the staff, was Great!
