I guess I learned to accept them if they expect these problems in advance, they are easier to treat. the noise level is often a problem. Last time I was there with a party of 8 and we literally shaken over the table. it is not that they cure the music, it is only the trubel of the folk and the kitchen. I like to eat this and it's the main reason I'm always going. they are very veg friendly and their personal is knowledgeable about the V dictionary: offers them suggestions to vegan friendly options and direct them away from what they do not want. they have great pastas and suppen and they can do amazing things with sweetness, so they have more than just sides. I am a big fan of her broccolini and also her rainbow wags. they offer seasonal food and drink specialties that are always surprising and seductive. there is a big part when you bring a big group to edos. some of the older people in our group were so confused about edo's family style eating that she grew. with large groups make it compulsory that the escapes come in shaded sizes. so I can't order a little pasta for me. I have to order a bowl pasta and share with my neighbours. as vegan eating with non- vegans this may be a problem. Secondly, they will not share their controls. everyone knows that this is something waitresses often do, because it is a courtesy for the customer, but also because many people don't wear money anymore. that is a great inconvenience. and a last note, use them intentionally when they show 20 minutes before closing or if they have a reservation. they will sit you, but not until they have given you a look at contempt. they will not get a warm and fuzzy feeling to go through the door, but the waiters are especially beautiful.
I was only on Sunday in edo’s squid. I read reviews of edo’s squid and on numerous sights all agreed that eating was great, but the service was honorable. well, knowing that we put our expectations low on the service to not spoil the evening, but was happy surprised to get great service as well as great eating. the only problem we had was smoking. the restaurant is small and they sit near their neighbours, so if someone smoke everyone is smoking. I hope they smoke the restaurant free.
I was three times at edo’s squid. the first time was on a Saturday evening with a big group. we had a reservation, but ended 45 minutes in the very confined lobby area, between which bar and the nearby tables wedged. the waitress was extremely rude and repulsive. but eating was so good that I decided to try another one. the second time I left, I was engaged to my, and we went early on Friday night. Unfortunately we had the same waitress. thankful; we had the same quality. the paprika and mozzarella appetizer was super and my garnelen diavolo pasta was perfect. the third time I went with a group of three on a Sunday night. at a reservation we had to wait 10 minutes, but the hostess was friendly and even asked us what table we prefer. I was thrilled to bring a new waiter to our table. he was helpful and friendly, and he made some great recommendations from eating and wein. I was very pleased with my third experience at edo’s squid. largely due to the change of the server. with such a charming atmosphere and a unique menu edo’s squid has the potential to be one of my favorite spots in richmond. good food will only take a restaurant until today. the total service must be improved at edo’s squid.
Fun place with a hip vibe. Very hard to get a table here. Small place but very good Italian food. Keep an eye on the bar a as most people seem to be sitting at the bar waiting for a table. We were able to grab a seat at the bar when it vacated and eat dinner at the bar. The place is a little bit noisy but it has a interesting vibe. Worth trying out when you?re in the area
Extremely busy hole in the wall restaurant. I was lucky to snag a bar spot. Monday is an especially busy night as many other restaurants are closed. I had the Seafood Pasta and it was perfect. Overflowing with delicious clams, mussels, shrimp, calamari, and fish. The broth was a rich seafood explosion, and the pasta was great as well. Not sure if they make it in-house, but either way no complaints. All in all a fantastic well rounded dish, and plenty of it. I'll be coming
