Fighting Fish Scott’s Addition

I had never noticed this restaurant until I found myself stuck in traffic one day, and I'm so glad I did. I love sushi and am constantly on the lookout for a spot that serves great sushi, has a nice atmosphere, and features friendly staff. This place checks all the boxes. We visited for happy hour to give it a try, and we’re excited to return for a more formal dining experience.

I was eager to explore a new sushi spot in Richmond instead of my usual restaurant, and I was delighted by my experience at Fighting Fish. From start to finish, everything was a five-star experience. The drinks were fantastic, the service was excellent, and the food was incredible. I've never had sushi that tasted so fresh and delicious. I tried the nachos and the Tuna Love roll, and I highly recommend both!

During our drive from North Carolina to Washington, D.C., we were craving sushi and found the perfect spot. This charming little sushi restaurant offers a fantastic menu with a diverse selection of sushi. The appetizers and rolls were both delicious. I highly recommend this hidden gem!

The foods are great, but service is just so so. We loved the fighting fish sushi burritos with fries, chef's choice of nigiri plate, as well as the mini flaming tuna nachos from the happy hour.

Do the pictures not say enough? Beautiful presentation and with such short notice. Staff were so friendly, helpful, and communicative. They made this amazing sushi “cake” for a friend of mine and blew us away both visually and in taste! It was so delicious. I’m a big fan of their sushi burritos but this is what sold me for sure!
