We were at 6:00 on Friday. There were minimal people in the restaurant - less than 10. When I was taken on our table- I noticed a sign that said basically get what you can eat because your dish will weigh and you will be charged about $5 for waste. It was cheap and I was my cheap plastic to use for us. We looked past it and thought that Covid was good enough to keep some people careful. The waitress and waitress played on their phones. I traveled to the food where there was slender picking because the food looked very old and there was a film that developed over sitting food. Mac and cheese oils had separated from it. I mixed it and it wasn't too bad. My husband got our Mongolian noodles when I tried to eat something. I took two pieces old hard sweet and sour chicken, hard bread roll that was hollow, general Tso Chicken- a piece, and an egg roll. The Pepsi was e for even tastes funny. I have to admit that it took everything in me to get the food down or as much as I could because it was terrible. At one point. I almost grieved and wanted to vomit. The noodles were the best part of the meal and even that was not much to say. My husband got some sushi and it was bad. The smell was terrible. So basically within 12 minutes and $80 later we left hunger and very disappointed. We will never again!!!!
This was 3 stars, but it has fallen since my last visit. The chicken on the buffet was too dry to cut with plastic utensils that they still insist on giving you. It is hard to have a relaxing meal when drawing on each table threatens to charge you for food you have not eaten; it is twice challenging if this food is hard to eat. Yes, inflation, food waste and pandemic are real, but this is a significant price increase. Do not search for their website on Google; they have not updated the prices at the age, and some pictures on their front are from 2012. I hate to do this, as it used to be a good start into a pinch, but I would just give it a star if not for the EXCELLENT cook on the grill. He definitely deserves a tip!
The best dinner buffet I ever had! We are not from Virginia, so we stayed here during a road trip on the way back home and the dinner buffet here was amazing! There was a wide selection of delicious food, including shrimp, crabs, crabs, crabs, mussels, fish and much more! They offered a Vietnamese soup option (Pho) where you could choose toppings for soup and a lady would cook them for you before you add the broth yourself. There was also a bar with beans and egg beans, where they also offered marinated ribs and beef trips. The inside of the restaurant was extremely decorative and the staff was very friendly. I must emphasize that their price is only $14.77 for a dinner buffet and is by far the largest of any Chinese buffet we have visited compared to those in Central North Carolina. Will definitely think new when we move forward in the future!
Oh, please don't eat here. The food was definitely not even fresh from a distance. I don't care if we don't end up with food poisoning. Unfortunately, I have not looked at the reviews before the visit here and I can fully understand and see the points of the other star reviews. Eating was old and hard, I stop eating and starving.
A tasty fever dream. Feed the fish, play the claw machine, Martin is on the grand piano. What more could you want
