La Bodega - Richmond

La Bodega is a MUST if you're in the Richmond area. My personal favorite is Arroz Con Pollo; both, the regular and the added Hawaiian version. Some friends and I made a trip during New Years day and was met with top-tier quality. Friendly, welcoming nature. Homemade style cooking. It is place I would recommend for anyone who is looking for a cozy dine out or dine in.

The empanadas were fantastic and the fried pork ribs were absolutely delicious. The service was quick and efficient and the drink menu was excellent.

As someone from Arizona, I wanted to try some authentic Cuban cuisine while in Richmond. I ordered the ropa vieja and it was incredibly tasty and flavorful! The portion size was quite large, and I ended up having to share the rest with my husband.

Such a treat to find a Colombian eatery in downtown Richmond! The atmosphere has a lively energy, great music, and cool decor. The food was delicious, bountiful, and prepared quickly. Our waitress was very sweet and helpful despite serving 7 or 8 parties at once all by herself! Will definitely be coming back!
