It was nice they were open NYD, thank you to the staff. I came specifically for the deconstructed butter chicken to compare it to a recent similar RVA opening. It was excellent. I especially enjoyed the unique whole roasted airline chicken breast with a light char and the delicious, seasoned gravy. Excellent service at the bar and great recommendations on the Cremant Rose and Naan choice.

I brought family in from out of town to take them to my favorite Indian restaurant. The food was incredible, but the service was pretty terrible. They brought out the wrong food for some in my party, didn't bring out a tea that was ordered (and followed up on), didn't come back to us with an answer regarding availability on a bottle of wine, etc.

Some of the most delicious Indian fare that I have ever had. From appetizers to dessert and everything in between, the food was innovative, incredibly tasty and satisfying on so many levels. Kudos to the waitstaff as well. We lacked for nothing.

This has been our Christmas Day go-to for years, and with good reason. Delicious food, attentive service, and no after-dinner cleanup, lol. Seriously, there wasn’t a weakness to any of the dishes chosen this meal.

We had a wonderful experience at Lehja for a Christmas Eve dinner. Our waiter was so friendly and knowledgeable. We decided to let him order for us (within parameters). Started with the Kala Chana-Goat Cheese Tikki and they were delicious. The special chaat with kale was outstanding. The goat in the biryani was the best I’ve ever had. Butter chicken was, well, like buttah. Sauces we all delicious and complex and we loved the different breads and the selection of the wafers and chutneys in the papad basket. We had cocktails, but the wine list is tremendous! We will definitely be back!
