Melito's - Richmond

Melito's is a beloved establishment for good reason. The service is excellent, the food is delicious, and you will always leave satisfied! It can get quite crowded, so be ready for a brief wait, but trust me, it’s worth it! Be sure to save some space for dessert, and don’t forget to tip generously!

This restaurant has a genuine homey atmosphere. It's a cozy, family-owned spot with fantastic drinks and the food is outstanding. I tried the fried meatloaf, and it was absolutely delicious.

Melitos, our reliable favorite for the past 15 years, was a complete letdown this evening. We arrived at 5:20 PM and placed our dinner order at 5:40 PM. Unfortunately, our meals didn't arrive until over an hour later. I had ordered brussels sprouts as a side, but instead received five thin, limp pieces of asparagus. The dinner special was supposed to come with wild rice, but I was served white rice instead. After requesting a replacement, the server took my plate away and returned it with nothing changed – except that my meal was now cold. Love this spot. Cross between a neighborhood tavern and a diner. Food is simple and fresh, service is great. Booths and tables are a bit snug, and accessibility may be an issue for some. Easy parking and even outdoor seating.

My husband loves the hotdogs with chili. My favorite is the summer salad with salmon. Yum!
