Riverside Tavern - Richmond

I frequently come to this restaurant for food and drinks after work. It has a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere. The bar area is excellent, and the service is attentive and friendly.

I have been to this restaurant twice - once for fries and a beer, and the second time for brunch. Both experiences were enjoyable. The baked chicken sandwich was excellent and made me think that thighs should be used in sandwiches instead of the breast. The French fries were really good and there was plenty of them. The prices were reasonable and the service was good. I ordered a Bloody Mary, but I prefer mine with a bit more flavor. I will definitely be coming back again!

While it may not be located alongside the river or on Riverside Drive, this tavern offers a selection of excellent ales (both local craft and generic) and a surprisingly sophisticated menu. It has a charming atmosphere that is not pretentious. If you are looking for delicious food with friendly service in Forest Hill, be sure to give this place a try!

Sad and happy. sad that a large bar and restaurant closed, happy that someone started a new restaurant and bar at his place. I have been coming to this place for over 10 years and this new place is great. the food was first-class, the staff was attentive and polite. most everything is made fresh in the house and the menu is eclectic and delicious. Welcome to the neighbourhood.

We went for lunch and it was delicious. The service was great and French fries are perfect. I got the avocado BLT. It was so good. Perfectly toasted bread and a thick sandwich that was still easy to eat and not messy. I kind of want another now just thinking about it.
