We needed 11 salads and sandwiches prepared in advance for pick-up at 9:45 AM on a Monday, and they had someone ready to make them before the store even opened. The salads and sandwiches were fresh and accurately made to our specifications. Great job, Subway on Main!
The lady working behind the counter only gave me 6 leaves of spinach on a footlong. When I brought up that she was wrong, because I am a former subway employee. She started screaming racial obscenities at me. She even said she would have to charge me for more spinach. The six vegetable rule is only for pickles cucumbers tomatoes and olives. I even agreed to pay because I just wanted to leave after she called me names. However, she took my food and threw it away!!! She had her name tag ripped off so I could not get her name. Stay away from this place, if the treatment is this bad. Imagine how bad the food is!!!
I can?t say enough about how pleased I was with the service I received from this location. There’s nothing more frustrating than addressing an issue with a manager and being met with condescension. I just received my order and found a bug crawling inside my sandwich. When I informed the female manager, she dismissed my concern, suggesting it might have come from the delivery person, saying, "We don't have bugs." However, I clarified that it was a curbside pickup and the bug was actually inside the sandwich wrap. Although the bug wasn’t a roach, it was still unacceptable. She eventually mentioned that I would need to bring back the sandwich to get a replacement. While I appreciate the offer to replace it, the way she handled the situation left a bad impression. It felt as though she believed I was trying to scam for an extra sandwich. Really? Customer service needs improvement—stop assuming that people are trying to take advantage of you. I returned your sandwich along with its unwelcome guest, and I won’t be returning. Previous Visit (2019): We arrived at 9:20 AM, and the store opens at 9. As we walked in, I overheard the person behind the counter telling a couple already waiting that it’s usually not this busy in the morning. She helped them promptly, but upon approaching the counter, I noticed that nothing had been stocked. She then asked if we could wait while she retrieved everything. We declined and left, as we were on a schedule and couldn’t afford to be late. This experience highlights the importance of employees and owners arriving early to have everything prepared before opening. I doubt my family’s orders had much impact on their daily sales, but there’s definitely room for improvement in service.
The restaurant is consistently stingy with the toppings. There was even a time when the employee tried to charge me extra for sweet peppers. Even though I live just two blocks away, I’ve decided to visit a different Subway from now on.
