The Riviere - Richmond

My waitress Mia was fantastic! She was attentive and did an excellent job. The food was delicious—truly some of the best mac and cheese I’ve had in Richmond; it felt like someone’s grandma was in the kitchen!

Awesome brunch spot in Virginia! We noticed a slight fishy smell when we first arrived, but once we checked out the menu, it all made sense. The French toast was amazing, and the crab and shrimp omelette was delicious! The mimosa flights were top-notch, and the music set the perfect vibe!

We attempted to make reservations twice, only to find out that the restaurant was closed on those dates! The first time, the schedule was listed online, but today we drove all the way there only to discover they are closed on Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays.

We started with the french toast bites, which were good. For dinner, I had fish, mac and cheese, and cabbage. It was decent but nothing to brag about. The spiked sangria mule drink was not good. The service was a bit slow, but the chill atmosphere made up for the delay in the food and beverages. We are going to give this spot another try.

I liked the ability to make reservation on line. One person was pleased with the amount of salmon in her salad. I didn’t expect plastic utensils. One of the six people in my party was pleased with her order. I ordered the chili shrimp, it was too much batter and not hot. The concerns were food wasn’t hot, I made the reservation online and wasn’t told your party has one hour 30 minutes after ordering to finish. The front door kept opening due to wind.
