The service is also good and the prices are reasonable. If they were to expand, they might struggle to maintain the high demand and quality due to the small size of the place.
I recently tried the Hong Kong Style Café and was impressed by the excellent service. I ordered the lunch special which came with soup and drinks. The Russian Borsch was delicious and the Clam Chowder was creamy and very tasty. Instead of the sweet bungalow, I opted for toast which was okay. The Pork Chop Casserole was a highlight, with a thick and tasty pork chop, though the tomato sauce was a bit too sour. The Portuguese chicken was disappointing as it was made with boneless chicken legs that were too salty and lacked the traditional Portuguese Style sauce flavor. There was no coconut aroma either. While the portion size was decent, I found the price to be a bit expensive compared to other Hong Kong Style café set lunches. The meat was overly marinated which, combined with the sauce, made the dish overly salty.
The restaurant may be small, but the service is friendly. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. They only accept cash, but they offer free Wi-Fi. They also serve lunch specials and breakfast. We particularly enjoyed the curry.
Great food and price. Pasta is cooked to perfection at correct degrees and everything is hot, no cold / warm or microwave food here for sure. Good service and price. Can't ask for more. If they expand, they probably cannot keep up with demand and quality so the place is small.
Excited to try out the Hong Kong Style cafe. Service is very good. We have the Lunch special that include soup and drinks. Russian Borch is very good and on point, Clam chowder is creamy and very tasty. instead of the sweet bun we have the toast which is alright. Pork Chop casserole is good portion, pork chop is thick enough and tasty but the tomato sauce is a bit too sour. The portugese chicken is not up to standard. They used the boneless chicken thigh meet, which is good but is way too salty and the taste of the Portugese Style sauce is not there, No coconut aroma at all very disappointed . Although the portion is ok but the price is a bit expensive when compare to other HK Style Cafe set lunch. The marination of the meat is too salty so when it combine with the sauce it makes it even more salty.
