The meal was okay and the price was pretty affordable (20% off with cash), but we likely won't be returning.
I really enjoy this restaurant. The staff is friendly and the portions are generous for the price. They are currently serving breakfast starting at 8:00am, unlike other Hong Kong cafes.
One dish that stands out is the lunch black pepper sauce chicken. Unlike many other places where chicken is breaded and sauce is poured on top for quicker cooking, this chef takes the time to pan fry the chicken, giving it a unique and delicious flavor. Despite the challenging times, I truly hope that Silver Bay Cafe can continue to thrive. I urge those who may have left negative reviews recently to consider giving the restaurant another chance. Instead of discouraging others from visiting, why not move on if it's not to your liking? It's important to remember that everyone's taste is different, and it's unfair to judge without giving it a fair chance. To the owners of Silver Bay Cafe, I recommend considering advertising on Chinese radio to showcase your special dishes and unique flavors. Don't give up, as my family and I will continue to support you through these difficult times.
I feel for the owner of this restaurant, the waitress doesn't do there job properly... in time for the lunch special ordered at 3:00 and she told me no because lunch is over, I'm a regular, even though it was 2:59, they could still give me the lunch special that any other restaurant would give. it's such a shame because the food is ok the service will affect the business. feel really bad for the owners of the restaurant.
$3 for a small size HK style milk tea take out? Holy smoke! The French toast not even coated with egg completely.
