M&s Cafe - Richmond Upon Thames

I tried calling this restaurant several times, about 5-6 times, and each time all I got was an automated voice thanking me for waiting, followed by an apology that the call could not be connected, before the call abruptly ended. It is frustrating that they do not have real people answering the phones. I am very annoyed.

The staff at this restaurant are very friendly and helpful. However, the food is just average. My friend didn't enjoy the chicken and vegetable soup, describing it as "gloopy." I had a baked potato with chili, which was decent. The prices are reasonable.

M&S would benefit from having a bigger counter to accommodate more food options. Nevertheless, the dishes they offer are consistently delicious and beautifully presented. The staff is friendly and attentive.

Thank you to the staff today for a pleasant lunch. The staff worked hard to overcome several difficulties so that we enjoyed our lunch with our granddaughters. PS. Could head office please supply some replacement cutlery?

We called in on a Friday afternoon and ordered hot chocolate and a piece of carrot cake each. The hot chocolate was very good not weak like some you get, and the carrot cake was very moist and tasty. Plenty of seating in the café and the tables were very clean and cleared promptly.
