Pricing is good, although their seafood is slightly higher than average compared to other places. And they really shouldn't be able to charge higher than average, because the dining environment needs a renovation. Pipi XO clams not too bad here! Good for a casual lunch, wouldn't come here if you have a date night or special occasion to celebrate.
I always buy a roast duck to take back to Adelaide and this time the family wanted to have a family dinner. There were 12 of us and the service and food was exceptional. Two serves of duck, several green vegetables, fried rice, sweet and sour pork, singapore noodles, jellyfish, chicken with cashews and a tofu dish and more. A real banquet and simply good food, well prepared and generous portions. Lots to take home. Will return for more than the duck next visit to Melbourne. A happy experience and fast service. Enjoy
Stopped in on one of my fave Melbourne restaurants Pacific BBQ on Victoria Street, Richmond. Simple order BBQ duck with BBQ pork with steamed greens on fried rice $15 plus extra $3 I think for fried rice rather than steamed. The pork and duck were absolutely perfectly cooked and tasted great. The manager who has been there for quite sometime greeted me and always ensures that the operation runs slickly. Sometimes the simple things are the best (and tastiest).
Try to eat here at least once when we’re in town. Duck san Choi bao always good as is the two meats bbq (we chose pork and duck)
Really feels like a proper Hong Kong Restaurant. Great service and cheap eats that are pretty nice as well. Well worth checking out if you want good Chinese.
