Athens Gyros - Richton Park

The food at this restaurant was never exceptional, but I kept returning because of its proximity to my house and my craving for fries. However, when the cashier laughed in my face after I refused to pay over 8 dollars for a large fry and a cup of cheese, I knew I would not be returning. The owner should consider hiring new staff and reevaluating the unnecessarily high prices.

I decided to give the turkey burger a try after seeing a sign that advertised it as homemade. Unfortunately, the patty turned out to be dry and pre-made, which was very disappointing.

The restaurant is a casual take-out spot with a retro vibe. The food was delicious but on the expensive side. Our total bill, including a tip, came to $33 for a Gyro platter and Cheeseburger meal. The burger and fries were decent, although I would have preferred the fries to be crispy without any coating. The Gyro platter was visually appealing and tasted great. The service was efficient and everything was enjoyable.

Are used to love this place but twice this week I have ate it and both times the chicken strips were old and overcooked and so we?re the fries no need to call And complain because the kids that work there won?t answer the phone

That was good! I had the classic Gyros sandwich with tzatziki sauce, tomatoes,and onions. The meat was cut fresh and not overcooked. The restaurant was a bit of a whole in the wall on the inside, but the service and friendliness was outstanding!There used to be an Athens Gyros in the former Lincoln Mall. Not sure if this one is related, but the Gyros?s at least which wastheir specialty are practically the same.
