The Village Tavern - Ridgefield

Nice place, good food and drinks, reasonable prices, friendly service. You have to get the lava cake with vanilla gelato!

Great New England tavern experience in Downtown Ridgefield. One of the few establishments open late in these parts. Drinks were well poured by friendly, professional and attentive staff with a menu featuring American style pub fare. A large bar from which to view the local gentry while drinking and dining. Local live entertainment on different nights.

We came here with a big group, and the service was stellar. My meal was delicious, my drink was delicious, and I can't say enough good things about the hazelnut gelato I had for dessert.

The Lantern has very good food and service. The restaurant is very cool and they have a fun bar too. I would recommend.

Stopped in to the Lantern this week for lunch for the first time It was a beautiful fall day so we sat outside. I had the fish and chips. Which were excellent. Two nice pieces served with French fries however the cole slaw came in a separate container and it was about a teaspoon full. My husband got the cheese steak sandwich and wasn't impressed the roll was more like a large hot dog bun. However our server was a very nice young lady. We will go back and try it again
