Hungry Burrito - Ridgewood

The food was very good and the service was excellent. The dishes were fresh, and our waiter, Simon Vera, was fantastic and friendly.

The food here is fantastic, especially the chicken enchiladas! However, the restaurant could improve its customer service. Despite that, the food always exceeds expectations.

The food is delicious, and the portion sizes are quite satisfying. The service is friendly, and the atmosphere is pleasant. However, I found the 15% gratuity included in the bill—without any prior notice, even for solo diners—to be a bit misleading. I should have checked the bill first, but it was still disappointing. Overall, I would rate the food a 5 out of 5.

This restaurant features a Mexican-themed interior adorned with pictures of Frida Kahlo. We tried the red sangria, fried calamari, mixed burrito, and carne asada. The mixed burrito was enormous, complete with the Mexican flag right on the shell. The carne asada was incredibly tender; I even complimented the waiter on how juicy and easy it was to bite into. The sangria was delightful, and while the calamari wasn’t a large appetizer, it was perfectly crispy.
