Kings Juice - Ridgewood

I discovered this little gem yesterday, and it completely exceeded my expectations. The Green Goddess smoothie was incredible! What's impressive is their consistent quality with every drink. I can't wait to try everything on the menu. It's a fantastic smoothie place that’s worth the trip. I’m definitely a lifelong customer now. Have a wonderful day, everyone!

I came across Kings while strolling through my neighborhood, drawn in by its colorful sign advertising jerk chicken, smoothies, and fresh juice. Unfortunately, my visit did not go as smoothly as I had hoped. Owner Dude was on the phone when I arrived and took a couple of minutes to acknowledge me. When I found out they were out of jerk chicken, I decided to order a juice priced at $6, but the total came to $8.71. When I asked about the discrepancy, Owner Dude brusquely informed me that the price had increased and that the menu I was looking at was from 2016. The menu was right in front of me, displaying outdated prices! It's baffling that they still have seven-year-old menus and then respond with attitude when I reference those prices. In the end, I chose not to spend any money there, and I won't be returning in the future. I genuinely want to support local businesses, especially those in my community, but the unprofessional behavior I experienced was unacceptable. I understand that times can be tough for businesses, but that doesn’t excuse a lack of basic customer service.

My man really knows what he's doing in there. I hit this place up regularly. I used to make smoothies at home but my nutribullet broke and while my roommate has got this other smoothie machine, it's really kind hard to clean and takes time to set up and yeah I guess I could just get a new nutribullet but space is limited and my roommate would be like mildly offended maybe since I'm not using their machine because stuff like that just bums them out etc. Long story short Everything is easier if I just head over to Kings Juice Bar! 32 ounces of crisp clean green relaxation! Five. Stars!
