Feedback gevenLet's try this place we have often seen passing through the Via Salaria before arriving at Rieti. It's better to book apparently. We'll be around 13:00. Anti-COVID measures are applied quite well, spaced tables and divided if you are more than 5. The environment is wide. The sun beats strong and we practically squeal.... There is no menu, you do not know the prices.... We are offered raw and/or cooked appetizers. Here comes the drinks and then... you start waiting.... the first part is served... the raw material is certainly of good quality as well as the preparations.... but between the first part of the appetizer and the second the wait abundantly exceeds half an hour! We wait also to order the first and despite trying to shorten the times we had chosen all the same scope, we had to wait almost an entire hour. Unfortunately the taking of orders was not entirely ‘accomodante’ but rather ‘spigolosa’... Here comes the first and even here we cannot complain for the quality... It’s already 16 and we didn’t even order the second.... we reduce as much as possible but also here unfortunately the wait is the constant.... we arrive at the sweets and coffee that the sun is already tramontando.... In short, a lunch of almost 5 hours is not really up to... They weren't married lunches. We believe that the quality of the fish is good but all judgment has been conditioned by waiting times. Also the frame is not ugly, on a green pavement and with some exposed animals seems to be far from the city... We hope the appearance of times will improve... and maybe even some extra smiles wouldn't hurt....
I found myself at this place on the return from Rieti and I was fascinated by the simplicity of the owner and the sympathy of the whole staff. Excellent homemade food, made with traditional recipes sabine, delicious oil, as well as other condiments, quality meat and first appetizing dishes. The host can advise you and assists you in choosing dishes, abundant portions, low prices. Try the lasagna and cereal soup as well as the rabbit at the hunter. We'll definitely be back.
We stopped by chance to eat back from Amatrice. We were greeted by the owner who made us sit right away despite the local was quite crowded and soon listed the dishes of the day since there was no menu. We ate an excellent starter with good quality meats. Excellent first and well prepared meat seconds. Wine of the house. Average price
Returning from Rieti to 2 pm we stopped by chance in this restaurant. Apparently very spartan but the fish really great and the really low price Wait acceptable 30/40min Very abundant portions With risotto we ate in 2 and the mixed grill of fish nn we managed to finish it then TAKE AWAY Perfect service with very kind waiters. If we had to come back here we will definitely stop from CONTE MAX to eat
Large room, possibility to eat outside. Fresh fish and cooked well. Pleasant dishes. Various and delicious appetizers.
