Dearte, Restorāns - Riga

This amazing Italian restaurant is located in the Galleria Riga shopping centre in the heart of the city. Really nice and helpful staff, relaxing atmosphere and ingenious food! Recommend this place for all Riga visitors!

I decided to use 5 because I really excited to eat in Restaurant d’arte Galleria... The staff is very polite, very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this place to all who live in Riga, Latvia food was really delicious also white wine Pinot Grigio it was really fantastic

Generally a good place to come if you want to have a nice view (if sitting on the terrace). The menu and prices were fine, but nothing expepcional. I ordered virgin Mojito, but it was so bad. And another minus no tap water as an option.

I don 't normally expect to find a decent restaurant at a mall. Restaurant d 'arte was pretty good, though, even if not without flaws. Open air terrace on the seventh floor was easily worth half a star during the Indian summer, and the atmosphere of the place was surprisingly pleasant in general. I started with steak tartare, which was very good, and would 've earned an excellent if not for the lack of a raw egg which I find to be essential in this dish flavour wise. Onto a Caesar salad, which was solid if not particularly memorable. And then the main course. I was torn between ordering pasta carbonara or filet mignon, but since filet mignon is for some reason a very rare cut to find at steak joints hereabouts, I decided to go with it. My impressions were mixed. The meat itself was very good, and the sides a purple potato mash and corn on the cob were excellent. I was a bit apprehensive about the steak being served as an ordinary tenderloin cut instead of as a couple of medallions, though. I might be a bit narrow minded here, but it just doesn 't seem like the right way to cook this particular cut of beef. That aside, my rare steak turned out to be, well, more on the medium side. Thankfully, I 'm very tolerant towards doneness, and enjoyed my meal a great deal nonetheless, but it 's a clear and unforgivable flaw for many a steak aficionado. Upon some consideration, and judging by the fact my dish wasn 't served very hot, I suspect that it wasn 't so much an error in cooking per se, it was just that my meat rested a few minutes too much. The place would still earn my recommendation, and I won 't be striking it off my own list in any case, but all of this comes on top of the prices being decidedly on the high side of the spectrum. There 's any number of restaurants in Riga where you can get a comparable meal for substantially less or a better meal for the same price. Expect to spend 30 to 50 EUR per person, depending on your order. On the bright side, the serving times are fairly quick.

The pizza was really good! Unfortunately, the person who ordered sushi did not get his good before some og the others were finkshed eating theirs. The cocktails are also good.
