Monterosso - Riga Latvija

Given the possitive reviews we went to Monterosso but it was not the experience we expected. We were helped immediately (a plus) and we had a menu within a minute (another plus). But... The pizza was not as we expected to be for a price of 18 euro's: almost no topping and poorly topped (not placed over the whole pizza but only half and half). We finished our drinks within a few minutes and they removed our empty drinks but didn't ask for new drinks or came to our place again untill we finished our pizza. The taste of the pizza was okay, but not worth 18 euro's a piece. We didn't get a dessert and for the first time in years I didn't tip, which should say something I think.

Amazing restaurant with good service and very delicious food. Service provided by Mihails Olhovikovs was exceptional.

The restaurant looked nice and we went in and ordered both a pizza here (19 euros). Expensive, so we anticipated very nice pizzas with great dough. Unfortunately not. It tasted and pretty much looked like a good supermarket pizza in the Netherlands. This restaurant didn’t feel Italian in any way. More like little Russia, considering the other tables were guests from Russia. Definitely don’t recommend eating any pizzas here. Overpriced and bad quality. So we didn’t want to tip, but had to ask to get our 4 euros change back .

Best pasta I have ever had. I have been here twice, and I definitely will visit again. The waiters are also very friendly. 10/10.

This is a really good restaurant! The food was just amazing. We were eating as starter Foie Gras, Greek Salad and Bruschetta then as main course Penne with Lobster and Tiger Shrimps, Pizza Prosciutto Crudo, Tuna Filet and Fries and finally as dessert Tiramisu and Apple Pie. Everything was great! Also the staff was really nice too and obliging. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere. Unfortunately there is only one toilet but it was not really an issue. Prices are high but meet the high quality
