Del Monte Restaurant - Rimac

I went there on my first day in Lima, chose it because I was hungry and the place seemed from outside without expectation. I must say it was a positive surprise, it was a very good restaurant. The place was small and slightly dark, it had an original decoration with bottles hanging on the walls and cozy tables that gave the place a warm and friendly atmosphere. I ordered the typical Peruvian dish Lomo salado and it was really good, the beef meeting was tender and tasty, it came with fries and rice that were really much, I was not able to finish everything. It is safe a place for tourists, yet they offer high quality food prepared with care. The choice is great and includes all the most famous Peruvian specialities. The service was fast and attentive, the prices were very good considering that it is in one of the most touristic areas of Lima. In my opinion: worth it!

It surely a place for tourist, nevertheless the they offer quality food prepared with care. The choice is big and includes all the most famous Peruvian specialities. The service was quick and attentive, the prices very good considering that it's in one of the most touristic areas of Lima. In my opinion: worth going!
