You can pay with card which I also super appreciate. Some dishes were not available at that moment, but there is more than enough on the menu to find something else. Definitely recommended.
We stopped to visit Rimetea and eat at this traditional restaurant and we really liked the food, the service and the location. The waitress made great efforts to speak Romanian, but I appreciated the fact that she was very kind. I strongly recommend the goulash and Csiki Sor beer!
Very good service, the staff was friendly, the environment was great. Tried the gulaș soup and it tasted great. Loved the Csíki Sör beer.
Came here on a Curly guided tour. The food was excellent and the hosts very accommodating. We felt very lucky to have been able to visit this place and enjoy such good traditional food. It was very reasonably priced. The trout was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection.
Visiting this restaurant is like visiting a museum. It's a bit like travelling back in time about 100 years ago. There's no avocado, no chia seeds, no sea food, no fusion cuisine or contemporary plating. The cooks are actually focused on the taste of food, not on the plating. Hungarian and Transylvanian cuidine at its best. Their dishes look and taste like 100 years ago. There's probably not even extractor hood in the galley, so your outfit will smell like food after leaving the restaurant. The gulyas seems to be the star of the menu hearty and juicy. The pickles are to die for they seem to be prepared after some old local recipe that include estragon among other spices. The sausages were very tasty. Excellent value for money.
