The Grottino - RINGOES

A new restaurant with typical teething issues. Food was good, so that is the important thing, but there are a few small items that need to have attention paid to them. The lighting in the entry corridor is too bright and it spills over into the dining room which at night make the restaurant feel more like a cafeteria. Plastic flowers on the table, either remove them as they are a dust trap or put a single real flower on the table. Asked for sparkling water but none was available. Server was so new that she had to refer everything we asked for, to the owner. They did accommodate our request for gluten free pasta, a lot of restaurants still do not cater for gluten free diets. Mussels on a flat plate, soup/sauce difficult to eat.
