It is sad I have found out they're going to close the door in a couple of weeks due to the lease expired and can't work out with the landlord! But I am happy to know they're looking for a new location. I hope they'll be re-open in a better and bigger location soon. We're here at around 6 pm on a Wednesday. The restaurant is not very busy. The very sweet lady is working on a lot of to-go orders, but still, give me a nice greeting when I walked in the door. The dining room is clean and comfortable. The foods are ready in 15 minutes and bring to my table after I ordered them at the counter. Complimentary chips and salsa is available when I'm waiting for my food. I have ordered three tacos and an empanada. It is very fresh and delicious! The two ladies working in the dining room are very friendly and attentive. They are checking our table all the time, picking up the empty plates when we finish our food, refill our drinks, and have a smile on their face all the time! The parking lot is very tiny in front of the restaurant, but more parking is available on the back. The sign of the restaurant is a little harder to see when you're driving. Just trust your GPS. It is right on when it tells you you've arrived! Lol!
Vamos a la Playa! The outside sign was tiny but we figured we were at the right place since it was the only restaurant in that area where the GPS placed us. We met our friends here for dinner. Inside is a nice, clean and cozy dining room. This is a counter-service restaurant and so we placed our orders with the young gal at the register (so friendly and helpful . I chose the Carne Asada Burrito, meat marinated with oregano, garlic, white onions and Gorgonzola cheese. I asked if the roasted tomato salsa was spicy she said just a tad. I can handle that. Choice of whole pinto beans or black beans. Latin X style served with green rice, crema and mozzarella cheese. And they served it already split in half, ready for my iG pic LoL! Hubby had the carnitas burrito... yum! slowly roasted pork and pico de gallo salsa. Took home 3 orders to go for my kids: Carnitas Taco Salad Pulled Pork Pibil burrito (super sized Cheese and Avocado Panini w/ bacon Oh yeah, they can 't thank me enough. Big meals, affordable prices. While this restaurant is new to us (thanks to Vince! , we were told by another employee that they will be closing their doors in the next couple of weeks... I had to clarify and they confirmed that Saturday, August 14th, will be their last day and will no longer be conducting business in this location. Sad that they were unable to negotiate their lease BUT! fortunately not to fret, this is temporary until they find a new location! We will be following once that materializes. So glad we got to try their delicious food! Review #2347
My only complaint is that I passed this place when I was looking for it because the restaurant signage the font is too small to read while driving. Food and service was good. I'm glad they're still here after so many places closed due to covid.
My friend Edna took me Here to eat and oh my gosh such good food , guacamole was excellent as well as the shrip cocktail and Chile relent very good food
