Restaurante Novo Horizonte - Rio Maior

I'm on a business trip and stay in rio maior. I have been here almost annually since 2010. my mistake, I never really asked where to have a good meal at a good price. tonight I'm past him and I'm here. it is a restaurant bar. it is a simple place, but with very good food. it's honest and honest, they don't pretend to be a noble place and what they do, wow, it's not just delicious. I asked for a steak. tender, tasty and medium-heavy. they came to me with a huge teller: a medium-sized steak on a roasted breadbed and covered with two roasted eggs. on the side, raw ham, cooked ham, carrots, rice and a good amount of fresh house made frying. wow! it was delicious. I wasn't so hungry when I sat down. the service is really good. the waitress smiled, barely English (excellent in a 20k town). the place is very clean and alive, as people happy social-smiley-drinking. no more, come on, sit and enjoy.

Well, tonight I passed in front of it and here I am. People, if you pass by Rio Maior, you should stop by and have a meal here.It's a restaurant bar. It's a simple place but with very good food. It's honest anyway, they don't pretend to be a classy place and what they do, wow, it's not just tasty. I asked for a steak..tender, tasty and medium-well done. They came to me with a huge plate: a medium size steak on a toasted-bread-bed and covered with two fried eggs. On the side, raw ham, cooked ham, carrots, rice and a good amount of fresh home made french fries. Wow! It was delicious.Guess what, I was not that hungry when I sat down. The service is truly good. The waitress was smiling, barely speaking English (quite exceptional in a 20k people town).The place is quite clean and "alive" due to people happily-socially-smiley-drinking. No more words, just come, sit down and enjoy.
