Meat Potatoes - Rio Vista

The food is really good and the staff was friendly. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because their website prices don't reflect the actual prices. We ordered two sandwiches and two sides the total was $31 and based on the website it should've beenabout $25.

Second time we have eaten here since moving to the area. Great food, great atmosphere, reasonable prices. Will definitely be back soon!

The restaurant was recently remodeled in October 2022 to incorporate entertainment, but unfortunately, I've had a disappointing experience. Prices for the food increased by about 50%, while portion sizes have been reduced. Due to these changes, I won't be coming back. Like many others, they seem to be struggling to hire waitstaff and cooks, but the real issue is the sharp rise in prices along with the smaller portions. This approach won’t be sustainable for long.

I've had my share of experiences—both good and bad—at this restaurant, but I've never felt compelled to write a review until now. I went in craving some BBQ, only to find that they were out of brisket entirely. My options were limited to sausage or chicken, so I opted for a chicken sandwich with BBQ sauce. After waiting 20 minutes for just a single sandwich, I drove the three blocks home to enjoy it. Unfortunately, it was barely warm, had hardly any sauce, and the chicken was quite dry. I paid $7.50 for it, which I feel was not worth my time or money, and the taste left much to be desired. I was tempted to give it 2 stars, but since I live in this town, I'll hold back.

I really appreciate the concept of this restaurant, and we will definitely return. Sitting on the patio was enjoyable, and the layout was impressive, with ample seating and even a designated area for live music and dancing. However, we almost left because the waitress took a long time to return to take our order. We each ordered potatoes, but for $15 each, I expected them to be larger, though they were tasty. Unfortunately, I didn’t receive a drink refill during our visit, and the checkout process took longer than it should have.
