Meat Potatoes - Rio Vista

Recently remodeled [Oct 2022] to add entertainment. Prices of food increased about 50% month, portions were reduced. I will not be returning. Restaurant like most others having difficulty hiring wait staff and cookstaff. But the problem is the dramatic increase in price and reduction in portion size. Will not work long...

I've had up's and downs with this place and have never wanted to review before now. I went to get some bbq. They didn't have any brisket at all. So I had to choose sausage or chicken. I got a chicken sandwich with bbq sauce. I sat and waited 20 min for a single chicken sandwich. Drove 3 blocks to my house to eat it. It was barely warm, barely any sauce and the chicken was dry. I paid 7.50 for that. Just wasn't worth my time or my money and the taste wasn't good. I wanted to give 2 stars but I have to live in this town.

Food was amazing. Looks like they’re growing pretty good, but take those things off the menu if you’re not serving them yet.

I like the idea of this place and we'll go back for sure. Sitting on the patio was nice and the set up of the patio was impressive- plenty of seating and even an area for live music and dancing. But we almost walked out because the waitress was slow getting back to us for our order. We each got potatoes but for $15 apiece, I would expect them to be a bit bigger, but they were very good. I never got a refill. Checking out took a little longer than it should.

This is one of the best places to eat. Their food is amazing and very well priced. Definitely worth the drive. And they also have a drive thru
