Ai Tre Massi - RIPOSTO

We made an appointment for 7pm. We arrived at a completely empty restaurant. The waiters were sat at the end of the restaurant in the corner having their meals. Probably before it gets busy. Even though the restuarant was open from 1830. We waited a good couple of minutes before a waiter stood up and showed us to our table. Not really interested in us he went back and sat down to have his meal. Eventually after insisting on been given some menus, the waiter reluctantly brought them. We ordered some wine and water. Wine was good. Now at this point things were already poor but it gets so much worse. We asked about the mix seafood platter and anti pasti to which we were told that the 16 eur for the dish is not the price for it anymore today. We asked, what is the price then? To which the waiter went back and asked. The manager came out and explained that its to do with seafood price going up and down. I replied saying well I understand that specialty items they usually put DOE on the price etc. We asked other things on the menu as well, as a lot wasnt in stock? Weird for summer? The manager then rambled away coz he couldnt give any prices on their seafood selection. He returned with a brigade of waiters to discuss the price, he then grabbed the menu out of our hands and started physically ripping out the prices from paper menu and returning them to us.. saying: ok you see now, there is no price! And I said well what is the price then to which he replied: youll see in the end when your bill comes. We felt so insulted and belittled and could here the other waiters probably bad mouthing us in the background. I said, please just give the bill, to which we waited 10 min more. I then stood up, corked our bottle of wine and stormed to the counter to pay our bill. We left saying how disappointed we were and that this restaurant had no respect for the clients. Do not go to this place, unless you want to start a fight with the staff.

6 waitors were standing there in an almost empty restaurant, and it took them quite a while to come and show us the table. After we ordered food, they brought us wrong things. Of what we ate it was barely edible. Prawns were not cleaned at all, with all intestines still being in there, and for the rest it was tasteless! It was a huge disappointment which was such a pitty as the location of the place is great.

Open on Monday afternoon at 2.30pm for lunch. Very reasonable, quick service and tasty pistachio pasta and swordfish secondi course- highly recommended.

Very good fish restaurant with friendly staff If you want to go there for sunday lunch BOOK is was packed!! Went back a couple of days later and had better luck finding a lunchtable Much much better priceworthy and genuine than any place i Taormina

Bets dinner in Sicily fantastic food, excellent service!. We were a group of 14 people. All guests remarked that the food was excellent. These people were guests on my luxury yacht in Riposto port. They are used to Michelin star quality food and stated this was the best food they had eaten ashore in ages. Staff were super friendly and charismatic. Food was original and tasty. Thank you for an excellent evening. Also the owner drove two of my elderly guests back to Riposto port as they were frail and feeling weak.
