Essex County Catering

My friend and I have been coming here for 5 years. The manager Eric was awesome and ran a tight ship. He left in July and the place just completely sucks now. Service is horrendous they would rather be on their phones. One girl came stood on the street and smoked a cigarette right in front of our table. Our waitress was awful, the food was gross. Sent back the dessert it was stale and hard. Had to keep asking for everything I will never go back here again! Ever! The place is going down hill fast and will be closed soon, you’ll see. Sad because this really was the coolest place to go in the past. It was so bad we didn’t leave a penny tip and I’m an excellent tipper. We just couldn’t it was that bad!!!!!!!

This restaurant is incredible! It's a charming little spot situated within a bustling train station. The new chef is outstanding and made sure to provide us with exceptional service, as did the entire staff. The wings were absolutely fantastic—perfectly seasoned and crispy, just how I enjoy them. I had the lobster roll while my boyfriend opted for the burger, and both were delicious, right down to the fries and chips. The atmosphere was pleasant and inviting, enhanced by great live music and a cheerful staff. I would definitely rate it a 10/10 and would happily return again and again!

The restaurant is just okay—nothing really stands out about it except for its convenient location. The menu is also quite unremarkable, with the fish tacos being the highlight. Everything else was mediocre or worse, and the appetizer selection was very limited. I can't see how tater tots qualify as an appetizer; I could easily make those myself from the freezer at home. On a positive note, the cocktails were good, and the weather was nice.

This restaurant is a fantastic addition to a posh suburb, providing a serene escape from the busy downtown atmosphere. It's the perfect spot to unwind near the Short Hills train station, complemented by live music and delicious food. The waitstaff are incredibly friendly, and the owner makes an effort to visit each table to ensure that everyone is enjoying their meals and drinks. The menu offers a diverse range of options that cater to all tastes. The fish and meat tacos are outstanding, along with the tater tots and cauliflower appetizers. The cocktail selection is also impressive. This place is definitely worth a visit, and I will be back!

This is a truly unique restaurant! During the day, it's a railway station, but in the evening, it transforms into a lovely bar and grill. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating, and the menu features delicious pizzas, burgers, and great drinks. I absolutely love the ambiance!
