This place is somewhat off the beaten track (a farm in an area not that much visited by foreign tourists (although lots of Italians visit the area because of the nearby thermal centres, e.g. Salice Terme . You really need to visit the website to find out about this place and how to get there; oh, and it 's only in Italian (although there were some English speaking staff when we visited . You will certainly need to make a reservation, so some Italian will help a lot! At present they only serve dinner Friday and Saturday, and Sunday lunch, but have plans to expand this and are working on several rooms for B&B in the near future. The food is a single menu i.e. you get what they have chosen, based very heavily on produce from this farm and others in the area; almost everything comes from within 25km. We thought that the two items on most parts of the menu were alternatives, but actually got both (and generally one was vegetarian, so I imagine you could have more of that and none of the other 'option ' . None of the courses was huge, but you certainly need to be hungry to eat them all; we had: Prosecco and appetisers tiny pizzas and the like Local cold meats, Russian salad, cheese pie, vegetable pie with cheese fondu Mushroom risotto, meat filled ravioli Loin of pork with plums and roast potatoes (a fairly small 'main ' course Tiramisu, Fruit tart Coffee Some of the food was excellent; none worse than very good mostly quite simple but good ingredients cooked well. Water (fizzy or still and their own wine (red or white, not great but very drinkable seemed to appear by magic once they knew what you wanted. We also got to try their dessert wine and 2 different grappas; this (and the price may well have been influenced by coming friends who lives nearby and whose daughter is a waitress there. It cost us 30 Euros a head (including a good tip ; if you pay quite a lot more you won 't feel ripped off!
